Newsboyz: Episode 30 - 08/06/2021

If whatever you're wearing when you die becomes your ghost outfit, Trevor couldn't have picked a better one.

in a weird way this is a good sendoff. Just two dudes hanging out having fun. Not some extreme production. Has a warm campfire feel. The fact that a lot of the conversations were current events at the time makes this a great and tragic time capsule.

I was in these streams every weekend. I remember marking my calendar for the return if Zach, and then it got pushed a week, and then I laughed my ass off throughout this whole stream. It was so nice to see my newsboyz together again.
And then I woke up the next day, went to work and came home just in time for a new SSS. But there was no stream and I was confused.
I checked the subreddit in case there was something up and indeed there was. Wkuk has always been an inspiration to me and Trevor really meant a lot. I know I wasn’t the most impacted by a lot but that was a rough day and I still think about all the good shit you guys have made on the daily. Thank you all.

Local Sexpot is remembered in his final live appearance in an official Whitest Kids U' Know production.

I missed this final episode because I went camping and was expecting Zach to come back to SSS. The next day I returned to Twitter to get hyped with other doll licker and slowly realized what happened, cried like a baby. This energy will never be replicated, so silly, so happy to have been a part of it.

I tear up all the time when I think about his family and his wife and son. I know we all feel a different sense of loss as fans, but what his family goes through every day will never compare to how we feel. He had so much more to provide as a father, and we should all keep that in mind.

I never thought i´d be crying and laughing like a crazy person over someone who I didnt even met. This is how amazing and touching Trevor was, and all of WKUK. Thank you for everything guys.

Just finished watching Newsboyz chronologically, it's like opening a time capsule. So glad these streams exist. Mars is going to be great! Love you guys

Stayed up watching this and woke up to a message from my friend about Trevor. Didn't seem real or possible. And I'm just some dude. Can't even imagine.. Thoughts with the fellas as always. Trevor Country forever.

Watching this live then waking up the next morning to read Trevor died was surreal. RIP Trev Dawg.

I knew trevor was dead when I watched this but, I been watching these at work catching up on all the stuff and missed the beginning about this being his last podcast. So happy I got to experience this episode without thinking the entire time that these were his very last hours. It was a great listen.

I'm not crying I just got pee in my eye.

This was one of the few shows I managed to catch live. Even so, I never involved myself in the chat and I can't help but feel a little regret over that. Trevor had such a unique and hilarious mind. Even though I never had any personal interaction with Trevor he was such a consistent part of my weekly routine through these twitch shows and I'll always miss getting to tune in to the crown jewel of the whitest kids empire.
Thanks for making it look easy, Trevor (because it was).

On my birthday August 7th, the first thing I did was watch this in the morning to start my birthday out happy. 2 hours later I heard what happened. Thank you guys for everything you do, words can't describe how much I miss someone I've never even met. Thank you for posting this. Sending love to y'all

Y'all probably don't read the comments, but Zach, Timmy, Darren, Sam - thank you. Thank you for putting this up, and thank you for coming back and bringing together this community of doll lickers during a very dark time. A lot of us lost loved ones, a lot of us lost our jobs, a lot of us lost our relationships or marriages, and a lot of us leaned on you guys when things got dark.
It's been a pleasure getting to know all of you, even if y'all don't know me. I hope WKUK getting back together was as beneficial for all of you as it was for us as fans. We love you guys, and you may not realize how many silent friends you made when you came back. I hope you're all doing well, and hope to see you all again soon.

Fitting that Trevor’s streak of never missing has been cemented for the rest of time

Was watching the Bukerson and Meyers campaign, I was having so much fun with it. Something just hit me where the reality and totality of him really being gone hit me again. Truly love and admire this mans genius. Wkuk was on Netflix when I was in my early teenage years. Instantly became hooked. I’ve binge watched every season more times than I could count know almost every sketch by heart then about a month before his passing stumbled apon the VODS after watching the Trevor Moore show 24 hour marathon I seen the pendulum swinging back in wkuks favor and I genuinely felt a full blown comeback for the trope over the horizon remember hearing the news and just thinking about his wife and son. RIP Trevor I never have grieved a celebrity I didn’t know before. I always thought it was corny when a bunch of people made the whole situation about themselves, but when we lost Trevor I genuinely feel like I lost a best friend I had bonded with the whole troupe through a screen over my entire young adult life. It’s still my comfort show when I’m having a rough day and it’s hard to watch the new vods because it just feels like a constant reminder of his absence. I can’t imagine the pain his family and friends are going through to this day. I think about it almost daily and it still feels like it happened yesterday. Thank you WKUK you guys are my hero’s much love too all and RIP Trevor Moore. I will truly never forget the impact you guys made on my and countless others lives. 9-8-24

Words cannot express how much I miss that man. I never knew him, never met him. When I learned he'd died hours after I watched y'all wrap up this stream I felt the hurt of losing a dear friend. I cant wait to see mars and trevor will always live on in my heart.

just finished a full newsboyz rewatch, can't believe it's been almost a year since trevor passed. i'm forever grateful for these streams, it was nice to get to know trevor a bit more while we had the chance to. he seemed like a pretty great guy. can't wait for mars! it'll be bittersweet as hell, but i am thrilled that we're still getting it.

It’s so hard to watch this after being there that night, eagerly awaiting the full SSS crew to stream together the very next night. Forever bummed that he’s gone, eternally grateful for his brilliance and the countless laughs he has given us. RIP Trevor Moore. A true once in a lifetime artist. WKUK forever. Just wanna say, guys - and I do hope you read this, personally (I and you). - you guys have such a good rapport with each other, it is incredibly enjoyable having you around streaming. I really appreciate your formative stylings at one with each other, and although Trevor is sorely missed and idolised in my comedic thoughts, you guys are 80% of the glue that holds your appeal together. I love you, and I’m thankful that you’re returning to form in full swing. Really relish your SSS, and you got me through a lot of black days. Keep on like I know you can, you fucking heroes.

My best friend and I got into a small fight on this night about me leaving him to watch the return of Zach. I ended up winning and going home to watch this. Unfortunately, half way through it I got too drunk and faded off to sleep. My last memory of Trevor is him talking me to sleep. I remember wanting to puke my brains out but being so invested In what the Newsboyz had to say that it took my mind off being sick. The Whitest Kids helped me get sober from drugs with their streams and I couldn't be more thankful, Thank you, Whitest Kids. Thank you, Trevor. You saved my life.

We're so lucky to have gotten that year and a half worth of Trevor before he passed.

This is gonna suck. And I'm gonna enjoy every moment. RIP, king.

He left such a positive impact on so many people. Great show, great guy. On a less somber note, I'm so excited to see Mars come out. Since it's still running the festival circuit, I'm realistically hoping for a release early next year. Who knows, maybe I'll be watching it in theaters if it makes it nationwide.

It is hard to watch everyone interacting knowing that such an amazing soul would leave us so unexpectedly. Rarely do we have any foresight of such things. Watching them talk about all these things they would do, making plans and agreeing to ideas with the chat, it is sad watching this already knowing none of it will ever happen. But, at the same time, these men lived fully, and and it is heartwarming knowing they never had any intention of slowing down. Rest in peace Trevor. Thank you for all the wonderful, special moments you gave us and all that you did. And my late condolences to the rest of the WKUK crew. It is amazing how you all stuck together. There are few figures I really connected with when I was much younger that not only kept going strong but continuously got better and better over time and kept making content that resonated more and more as I got older.
Trevor was such a gift. I sent my friend a WKUK clip while he was caring for his mother who had terminal cancer. Next thing I know, my friend is digging through Trevor's entire collection and he and his mother watched those videos together every day close up to the end. He said she absolutely loved him and it is comforting to know the effect Trevor's memory and legacy can have on people, even after he is gone.
With every swig of Listerine, I toast to Trevor ❤️
