To fall in love is a magical thing
to whisper sweet words of longing,
to touch, caress, to fondle and undress
to look, to smile, to watch and gaze,
to hold your hand and stroke your face,
to kiss your lips, then a fond embrace
these times never to be forgotten.

We fall in love and we don't know why
tis a smile, a look, a spoken word or two,
an act of kindness draws me to you.
We talk and say things from our heart,
trying to tell you, what sets you apart,
your smile, your wit, your hair, your eyes
your desires, to be who you are,
not scared to say things from deep in your soul.
to tell of your loves, of desires and more.
I have been in love before, more than a crush,
more than a score. Feelings grow and feed the soul
tis different this I do know.

A strange kind of love,
this time round, for one so old,
two feet on the ground,
one with so many memories to share,
with so much experience, a worldly flair.
